Cool Ministry Feedback (March 2010)

From an 8th grade teacher
Thanks so much for our retreat. Many of the students have commented on the ‘stirring of the spirit' in their lives! WONDERFUL that they were so moved to express themselves today. Such a positive message for all of us in this season of Lent. I hope that our schedules match and you can join us again next year. Thanks again- have a great lent.

From an 8th grader
I attended a retreat recently, and this retreat really changed my spiritual life. Normally, I dread going to church, thinking it's boring and pointless. You guys made me realize that I needed to stir up the chocolate syrup!

Also your talks about being fake and putting on faces were really inspiring!
Thanks REAP team!

From a 7th grader
Thank you for all of your help. I recently attended a REAP retreat and it totally opened my eyes. It was certainly a great influence on my life especially with the sacrament of Confirmation coming up. May God bless you! I would count on praying for your team. Ever since I went on Sunday, all I do is think of you guys. You are very important! It was your employees/workers that inspired me & opened my eyes towards God. I thank them so much. They were a great help and experience.

From a high school sophomore
Hey thanks for the great retreat...I had a great time and I think I'm going to try to change things in my life now.

From a DRE (Director of Religious Education), about the chocolate milk app for the iPhone & iTouch
This is great! I just installed it on my iPhone! It's as cool as the Bubble Wrap App! Now I will pray for REAP every time I play on my phone!

I LOVED this retreat! So inspiring.

From an 8th grader
You came to my school a couple of days ago to talk to us about confirmation. Thanks you so much. All of my classmates and I enjoyed it a ton. And I went home and had chocolate milk :) I personally loved how you kept us listening and entertained and how you told us your personal true-life story and I loved the inspirational prayer you did at the end. Thanks again.

From a mom
THANK YOU! I want to thank you for the fabulous retreat last nite! I am "grateful" that my daughter's sponsor was ill, so I ended up attending at the last minute. Later, I was just really sad that my older daughter and my husband could not attend, because I really felt it was inspiring. The most exciting thing is you really touched my 8th grader too. She made sure we picked up your literature and even asked me to buy your books. We came home and she told her dad all about it. That wasn't the end, she was so interested that she then went and "stalked you on facebook!" Well, the funniest thing, you had a friend in common. From your literature on line, I don't see any general retreats for teens, only those sponsored by churches/schools. I know my daughter would be interested if any were available. I do think she will keep in touch with REAP thru podcasts, etc. Again, thank you for your retreat. You do a wonderful service!

From a college student & former REAP Team member
The REAP team has really impacted my life probably more than I will ever know! You and your ministry will constantly be in my prayers! Y'all even have a spot on our college prayer board. :) God Bless you all in all that you do.

From a high school sophomore
I am a sophomore in high school. You had a retreat with our school recently, and I just wanted to thank you for how great it was. It made me really think about my relationships with friends and especially with my boyfriend. And I decided to break up with him because he wasn't a good match for me. Nobody seemed to understand at first that I needed to do what was best for me. Apparently we were "the perfect couple." He wanted something that was too serious and I'm only 15. I have a life to live first. And at first I couldn't even admit that to myself. (You're right. Admitting it to yourself is really hard.) But when I did, I think I made the right decision in the end. I just feel bad cuz he's so heartbroken. But I needed to do it. So thank you for inspiring me to make the best decision for me. And thanks again for a great retreat.
